Her parents were against her decision of Meera, they didn't allow her to be a part of the industry, they told Meera that her career was in fog, and she used to do other things for her better future. But Meera set his mind and left for Mumbai, Maharashtra (city of dreams) in 2010 to pursue her dreams.

Meera faced lots of rejection and struggle in starting, she initially worked as a side dancer for her survival in the acting world, and after 2 years she got work in the Colors Marathi show 'Majhe Mann Tujhe Zale'. Meera's luck was not that good in acting.
Meera got the spotlight after being a contestant in the Marathi dance-based show 'khallas dance, Ekach Nivad', wherein she was one of the six finalists. Later she got work as a choreographer in many leading shows on Television, including Nach Baliye season 7, Hindustan Ke Hunarbaaz, Dance India Dance, Dance India Dance- juniors, Eka Peksha Ek Apsara Ali.
